Reed Middleton Wins Youth State Championship 2/19/12
Reed Middleton won the Kentucky Youth State Championship in his division at Sunday's Kentucky Youth State Wrestling Tournament. Eric Rushing and Alex Rivera both placed 2nd. Corey McQueary and Kyler Gentry placed 3rd. Lane Middleton placed 4th. Other outstanding wrestlers were Luke Polin, Tatyana Delpino, Izzy Hadley, and John Wesley Hardin. Congrats to all!!
2 Youth Champions and Several Placers at Youth Regionals!! 2/11/12
Reed Middleton and Corey McQueary won regional Championships at the 2012 Youth Regional Tournament. Isaiah Hadley placed 2nd. Alex Rivera, Eric Rushing, and John Wesley Hardin all placed 3rd. Other awesome performances were by Tatyana Delpino, Noah Larson, Luke Polin, Kyler Gentry, and Lane Middleton. These wrestlers will compete in the Youth State Tournament on Sunday Feb 19th at the Lexington Horsepark, Alltech Arena.
Reed Middleton Wins Youth Greater Louisville Championship 1/22/12
Reed Middleton went 3-0 on Sunday winning the Greater Louisville Championship at Fern Creek. Alex Hopkins placed 3rd in his weight division and Jess Ringenberg placed 4th. Congrats also to Lane Middleton, Caleb Davis, and Alex Rivera who also wrestled well.
In the elementary divisions Kyler Gentry placed 2nd and John Wesley Hardin placed 3rd. Also wrestling well were Hunter Bruce, Shannon Harris, Noah Larson, Marley Stallings, and Jake Warner.

Siddens and Middleton Advance to Middle School State 1/21/12
Toby Siddens (92) placed 3rd at this weekends regional tournament. He will advance to the state tournament where he is a top oick to make a run for the middle school state championship. Reed Middleton (98) placed 4th and also advances. Reed is the first 6th grader from Moore in 7 years to advance to the state tournament.
Middle School Wrestlers Advance to Regional Tournament 1/14/12
Congrats to the following middle school wrestlers who placed in this weekends District tournament at Eastern High School.

Youth Wrestling places 6 at Fern Creek Tourney. Reed Middleton wins Championship 1/8/12
The youth wrestling team has a good day placing 6 wrestlers. In the morning session at the Tourney John Wesley Hardin placed 2nd while Kyler Gentry placed 4th. Other outstanding wrestlers were Jake Warner, Marley Stallings, Shannon Harris, and Noah Larson.
The afternoon session had 4 placers. Alex Hopkins placed 4th while Alex Rivera and Jess Ringenberg placed 2nd. Reed Middleton won his championship match with an escape in sudden death overtime against an opponenet who beat him the previous day. Revenge is sweet ;) Great job also to Lane middleton, Lucas Polin, and Kalob Davis. |

Three Youth Wrestlers Place 12/18/11
John Wesley Hardin, Jess Ringenberg, and Lane Middleton all placed 3rd at the Fern Creek Youth and JV Middle Tournament. Also congrats to Marley Stallings, Jake Warner, Shannon Harris, Kyler Gentry, Jack Delk, Jacob Zabenco, and Alex Rivera on their great performances.
MTS Youth Wrestling's First Ever Competition! 12/11/11
Historic day at MTS Wrestling as the Youth team participated in it's first ever competition. Placers were Alex Rivera 2nd, Jess Ringenberg 2nd, and John Wesley Hardin 1st. Other outstanding wrestlers were Scott Joslin, Noah Larson, Hunter Bruce, Jake Warner, Shannon Harris, Kyler Gentry, Jack Delk, Jacob Zabenco, Caleb Davis, and Aaron Curtsinger.
MTS Youth will next compete on Sunday Dec. 18th at Fern Creek.
