PROGRAM TESTIMONIALS
Adam has been wrestling with Moore for 5 years now. At first I was nervous because I thought it was a violent sport. I was wrong. Wrestling teaches discipline, hard work, strength, and strategy. My son has developed a confidence that not only comes out in his wrestling, but in his everyday life as well. These wrestlers develop relationships and respect for each other and wrestlers from other schools. MTS coaching staff holds the wrestlers to a higher standard, not only on the mat, but in there class work, and attitude. Wrestling gives my son a chance to put down the Xbox controller, get some physical activity and grow at something he is good at. Our family has grown to love the sport, and Adams little brother has since joined the MTS Youth program making it a family affair.

My son has been in MTS Wrestling Program since 7th Grade and up until that time it was an argument every morning to get him up and going! His grades were all D's and I constantly got calls from his teachers stating he wasn't doing his work. I remember in the 7th grade before he started wrestling I spent the entire day with him in his classes. I had told him if I received one more call I would be his classmate for an entire day and I did!! All that has changed!!!! Since the MTS Wrestling Program and all the influence from his Coaches, Mikey doesn't want to miss school, he was on the A-B Honor Roll his entire 8th Grade year and I see such passion, commitment and determination in him. He inspires me!!! Not only have I witnessed what this Program has done for my son, I see what a difference it has made in others as well. They work hard toward a goal as individuals but also as a team! Thank you so much MTS Wrestling Program and ALL the Coaches who have been such an impactful part of changing my sons life, I am forever thankful!!

Coach Thomas not only pushed me to be a better athlete, but a better human.
I started wrestling in 8th grade and it was a whirlwind from what I was used to athleticism wise. One of my fondest memories was the first tournament I was in during my 8th grade year that I broke my collarbone. Coach Thomas came up to me, smacked me on my shoulder, and told me it’ll be ok. My five years of wrestling was plagued with multiple injuries, but it was more of a blessing than a curse.
Wrestling taught me to never give up, no matter the circumstances. Coach Thomas was always pushing us to the limits of physical and mental feats.
When I was in the hospital recovering from multiple brain surgeries and struggling with muscle atrophy, the hard lessons learned from wrestling really helped me continue the fight when all I wanted to do was give up.
I owe a lot to this program and coach. I may not have had a state championship or an excellent record with multiple tournament places, but the true take away from this has given me life.
I love you coach. I thank you for pushing me to be the man I am today.
